Bia Energy converting food waste into a sustainable solution

Partnering with Bia Energy turns a waste challenge into a sustainable success story

Our Solution

With limited options, disposing of waste food sustainably is a challenge for most companies.

Yet food waste continues to hold real value: by sending it to an Anaerobic Digestor facility, you can transform it into renewable Gas & bio fertiliser, valuable resources for both the energy and agriculture sectors.

With limited Anaerobic Digestion facilities in Ireland, to date this has meant most waste has to be transported to Northern Ireland, and in doing so, generating tonnes of CO2 in the transport process.

But now, Bia Energy offers a far more sustainable and cost-efficient option:

Bia Energy accepts all types of packaged and unpackaged food waste at our new 100k tonne Anaerobic Digestion facility just off Dublin’s M50.

As Ireland’s largest and most advanced facility, this offers companies a simple, sustainable and cost efficient way to convert unavoidable food waste into a valuable resource.

Partnering with Bia Energy turns a waste challenge into a sustainable success story.
