About Bia Energy

Our mission is to accelerate Ireland’s transition to clean energy by transforming waste into renewable fuel and biofertiliser.

Leaders in Ireland’s Waste to Energy Sector

Bia Energy is a renewable energy company based in Dublin, Ireland.

We are the market leader in the receipt and processing of short dated and surplus packaged food from retail, hospitality, agriculture and food producing sectors.

To transform this waste into high quality biomethane and disgestate products, Bia Energy owns and operates a fully constructed Anaerobic Digestion (AD) plant just off the M50 motorway network close to both Dublin Port and Airport.

This central location, together with our tested logistics network, makes for the most effective collection and delivery system in Ireland. This plant has an electrical grid connection for up to 5MW and will soon have the capacity to produce over 120GWh of Biomethane per year.
